The Moon Lion wall sculpture is made using 3D printing technology. The first prototype was printed in white strong and flexible plastic, bringing Kocourek's vision to life. The size of the plastic prototype measures 300mm in width, 69.78mm in depth, and 194.64mm in height. However, the size can be modified to suit specific needs. Additionally, there are various material options available, including color plastic, brass, bronze, gold, silver, and steel.

The Moon Lion project began in November 2015 and was completed in January 2016. Throughout the design process, Kocourek conducted research on existing lion wall sculptures, aiming to create a unique and original product. The main challenge faced during the project was ensuring the technical precision required for 3D printing, particularly in terms of wall thickness. With patience and dedication, Kocourek overcame these challenges to bring the Moon Lion to life.

The Moon Lion wall sculpture has received recognition for its exceptional design. In 2016, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the 3D Printed Forms and Products Design category.
